AP60 Youth Guide Art Booklets for
Artist’s Proof: Singapore at 60
Singapore at 60 is an artist’s proof—concurrently a moment of completion and a moment of beginning. Reflecting on the continuous work of Singapore as a nation, seen in broader historical and geographical contexts, over 90 works from Chong Huai Seng’s extensive private art collection have been chosen to celebrate this significant moment in Singapore.
An interactive arts booklet for young audiences was created in conjunction with Artist’s Proof: Singapore at 60, an exhibition featuring over 90 works from Chong Huai Seng’s private art collection, selected to mark this milestone in Singapore’s history.
The booklet forms part of the youth segment, Fresh Impressions: Children’s Programme, which runs over two weekends and offers a series of hands-on workshops designed for children aged 6 to 12. Developed by Objectifs, the programme includes three artist-led workshops that respond directly to the exhibition, inviting participants to engage through collage, wax-resist techniques and sculptural exploration as alternative, tactile ways of experiencing the artworks.
